From the Mak Family…

Last week I was at the Mississauga City Hall for a Committee of Adjustment hearing and saw a portrait of my dad, Andre Mak.

I’m proud to say that in 2003, he was awarded the “Mississauga Citizen of the Year” for his contributions throughout the city. 

He was my role-model for volunteering when I was growing up.  Most of my public speaking and business skills I learned from him.

It was a little surreal seeing his picture on the wall so I asked Tina to take a picture of me before we walked into the hearing.
