My son, NTM, has always been a skier until this month, when he decided to take up snowboarding.

Everyone tells me once he starts boarding, he’s never going to ski again! I guess it’s cooler with the kids these days.

So now he’s back on the Bunny Slopes with his padded shorts, learning a new skill.

After this week, I thought all the snow would be melted but here we are with a sudden snow storm. I guess skiing (or boarding) is back on the schedule!

Will it be a Busy Spring Market?

In February 2026, the average home sold for $1,008,968 which is down -7.0% compared with last year.

Also, Statistics Canada just reported an estimated 84,000 jobs lost last month across Canada.

Anecdotally though, I’m seeing things pick up with more showings and offers happening in March.

Don’t think about listing before March Break. It’s best to wait until all of the Buyers (and their kids) are back in town to get the highest price.

Hopefully the weather gets nicer so that Buyers are in a better mood.
